I saw her walking towards me from
forever away.
The warm summer breeze sighing gently through her hair.
The passion of the moon shined on her like an aura of an angel.
She had a glow that lit up the boulevard the way a goddess pulls light from
thin air.
Intense and beautiful.
Intriguing and amazing in every way.
I wondered what it feels like to know her name and to make her smile and to
feel her touch.
I wondered what it would be like to hear her voice and to hold her hand and
to play in her
hair.
I am but a humble man, singing the song of life, waiting for the way of my
heart.
And then time stood still.
As she walked within an arms reach, she looked up and smiled at me, unaware
of the fact
that she may have made my life brighter and full of hope.
It was then that I realized that for just one moment, it was the first time
that I ever felt my
heart skip two beats.
I turned my head and watched her walk off gracefully until she faded away
into the
moonlight.
And for just one unforgettable fragment in time, she had helped me to forget
that I would
spend another cold night…
…alone.
